Dr. Dolezal is an internationally recognized expert in systems-based aging biology, with over two decades of experience bridging basic science research with clinical application. With advanced training in neurology, geriatric medicine, and molecular biology, Dr. Dolezal has pioneered innovative approaches to understanding how neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and epigenetic systems interact during the aging process.
Prior to founding Axera Pharma, Dr. Dolezal led translational research programs at leading academic medical centers, published over 100 peer-reviewed articles on aging mechanisms, and served on FDA advisory committees for novel aging interventions. Their work has been recognized with numerous awards including the National Institute on Aging Distinguished Investigator Award and the Gerontological Society of America’s Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award.
